Most ring repairs are completed within approximately 15 working days. However, repair times can vary depending on the type of work required and the condition of your ring.
Whether you visit one of our stores or submit your ring through our online repair service, we'll provide you with a personalised repair assessment, estimated completion date and quotation before any work begins.

A: We repair a wide variety of jewellery, including rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, bangles, pendants and body jewellery. We can also repair many items purchased from other retailers. Our expert jewellers will assess your jewellery and advise whether it's suitable for repair.

A: We recommend that you visit us in store where our team of advisors can find the perfect fit for you, or you can use our handy ring size guide.
Q: How does your online repairs service work in relation to ring repairs?
A: All you have to do is click here to complete and print the form, then send your ring in using a secure shipping service. We will open the parcel under camera, and our jeweller will then assess your ring. A price and a timeframe estimate will be sent to you via email along with a payment link, which must be paid in full within 14 days of receipt. The workshop will complete the ring repair upon receipt of payment and then send it back to you via DX Express courier service.
Q: How do I send my ring in to you for repair if I book it in online?
A: You should use a secure, tracked and signed for service to ensure that you have visibility of your ring’s journey to our jewellery workshop, enclosing your ring and a copy of your completed form. Ensure it is packaged appropriately to avoid any potential for damage in transit. Do not send any sentimental packaging with the ring. The workshop address to send it to is Design and Service Centre, H.Samuel, 56-57 Briggate, Leeds, LS1 6AS.
Q: What if I can’t print a copy of my completed form?
A: Enclose a slip of paper with your name, address, email address and contact number as they were entered on the form.
Q: How do you send my ring back to me if I book it in online?
A: It will be sent back to the address provided on the booking in form using the signed for DX Express courier service. Rings booked in online can only be sent to the address on the booking in form once completed; they cannot be sent to an alternative address nor to a H. Samuel store for collection.
Q: Is my ring insured when it is sent for repair?
A: When you book your ring in for repair in-store it is fully insured from the moment that you leave it with us to the moment you collect it. When you book your ring in for repair online, it is fully insured from the moment we receive it from you to the moment it is delivered back to you.
Q: How do I find out how much my ring repair will cost?
A: Some of our ‘from’ prices are shown further up this page. Most repair prices can be quoted on the day if you take your ring into one of our stores, and for anything that cannot be, or for ring repairs booked in via our online service, an estimate will be provided to you within 3-5 days of receipt of your ring.

Q: What happens if I don’t pay in full for my online repair within 14 days?
A: For online repairs, if payment is not made in full within 14 days of receipt of the payment link, your ring will be returned to you at the address provided on the booking in form, without the work being completed.
Q: What are the shipping costs for repairs?
A: For ring repairs booked in in store, shipping to and from the jeweller is free. For ring repairs booked in online, shipping costs to return the ring to you upon completion are priced at £4.95 for ring repairs under £40 and are free for ring repairs £40 or more. All ring repairs are returned using the DX Express courier service. Where a shipping cost is incurred, this will be included in the estimated price.
Q: Is there a guarantee on ring repairs?
A: A: Yes. Eligible ring repairs completed by H. Samuel include a 12-month guarantee covering materials and workmanship from the date you collect your repaired item. Cleaning, polishing and plating are cosmetic services and are excluded. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
