How Your Watch is Adjusted
Watches with metal bracelets typically need adjusting to fit the size of your wrist. This adjustment usually involves removing or adding links to ensure a proper fit on your wrist.
You can tell us your wrist size when buying your watch, and our service experts can make any watch adjustments there and then.
Received your watch as a gift? Simply take your watch to your nearest store with proof of purchase (either a receipt or the stamped guarantee card) and our watch service experts will make any changes as part of our free watch adjustment service, while you wait.Image with text block
How Do You Measure Your Wrist?
Everyone is a different size. And some people even prefer to wear their watches a little looser than normal. To work out what size watch strap you want, use a tape measure wrapped around your wrist, alternatively.
Take a piece of string
Wrap it around your wrist until you are happy it fits
Measure that length against a ruler
Add about half a centimetre or so (1/4 inch) of slack so the bracelet’s not too tight or rubbing
Free Adjustment is Limited
If you need an extension adding onto the original bracelet and we need to order extra links from the manufacturer, this may incur an extra cost. We’ll let you know about any possible delays or additional costs.
Please note, free watch adjustment is limited to one per watch purchase. We will need to charge for any extra adjustments.
