In 1969, Seiko released the world’s first automatic chronograph with both a vertical clutch and a column wheel, called the Seiko Speedtimer. One piece from the 6139 Speedtimer series gained fame when NASA astronaut Colonel William Pogue wore it on a Skylab mission, earning it the nickname 'Pogue. This modern recreation features a vivid yellow dial, red second hand, and subdial minute hand at 6 o’clock.
