More about Young Lives Vs Cancer

H.Samuel is proud to support Young Lives Vs Cancer, the UK's leading charity for children and young people with cancer, and their families. We are proud to have raised over £1million to date with the help of our customers.

Cancer doesn't discriminate. Today, 12 more children and young people will hear the devastating news that they have cancer. From diagnosis, Young Lives Vs Cancer's specialist care teams will step in, ready to help, support and guide. They will provide a specialist package of support tailored to each young cancer patient and family.

Elizabeth Lowrey, Strategic Partnerships Lead at Young Lives Vs Cancer, said: "Young Lives Vs Cancer provide families with practical, emotional and financial support when they need it most. Our social workers step in the minute the doctor says "it's cancer" to give vital support and our Homes from Home offer families a free place to stay nearby while their child is on treatment".

For every pendant bought, H.Samuel stores will donate £10 to Young Lives Vs Cancer in the UK and Barretstown in Ireland. The sale of four pendants could pay for a family to stay overnight in one of Young Lives Vs Cancer's Homes from Home which allows families to stay together and remain close to the hospital whilst their child receives treatment.
