The new GA-900 series has a a heavy-duty look with an industrial design motif, with a ten-sided decagonal bezel that resembles a large nut and fine detailing on the hands. Each button has a textured non-slip surface. Other features include shock resistancy, 200M water resistancy, stopwatch, timer and world time mode.
I love g-shocks and now have quite an extensive collection. After ordering this new heavy duty edition with orange strap through the website I was excited to see it. The website states it has a resin (plastic) strap, I was disappointed that it’s actually a cloth strap. The light does not illuminate the whole screen. It is on the cheap side of the g-shock family so would be great as a starter model of someone’s first time buying a g-shock. I sent it back for a refund. I cannot fault the great service I received though!!
