A chronograph is a watch that features a stopwatch and the time. Usually associated with sports, increasingly chronographs are worn with suits and on special occasion, as they are extremely fashionable and stylish.
A chronograph watch will usually feature three buttons on the side. One in the middle called the crown which is for the usual time and date setting functions, one to start and stop the stopwatch and one to reset the hands used by the chronograph. This latter usually employs a flywheel, which means that when you press it, the stopwatch hands spin around the dial and back so that both hands being at the midnight position.
