Gift card values

• Add any amount to your gift card from £10 to £200, in £10 increments.
• Buy up to five gift cards online, in one order, with a maximum value of £200 across all cards.

Gift message and gift wrap

• Gift cards are presented in a greeting card when you add a personal message free of charge.
• No gift wrap option is offered for gift cards unless other non-gift card items have been purchased.

Delivery options

• We offer four delivery options: Standard delivery, Next Day delivery, Yodel Neighbourhood courier (next working day with flexible re-delivery) and store delivery.
• If you choose store delivery and you're ordering gift cards only (i.e. if there are no other products in your order), you may prefer to buy your gift card directly from an H.Samuel store. Gift cards are available in every H.Samuel store and any amount from £1 to £1000 can be added to them.

How to use your gift card

A gift card may be used as part or full payment on merchandise online or in any H.Samuel store. For online purchases you will be asked on the Payment Details page in checkout if you have any gift cards, simply click the button within the gift cards section to enter your card details. The payments will be taken from the gift cards in the order that you enter them on the gift cards payment page. It is not possible to deduct chosen amounts from separate cards to make up the total purchase price. You can use up to 2 gift cards and/or insurance replacement cards combined per order.

How to top up your gift card

Gift cards can be topped up in any H.Samuel store. Just present the card to the sales associate and inform them of the amount to be added.

Checking your card balance

The balance outstanding will be displayed on till receipts issued when the card is used to make a purchase or when topped-up in store.

 

Full gift card terms and conditions

• The balance on the gift card can be used for purchases at H.Samuel stores or online in full or part payment.
• More value can be added to the gift card at any H.Samuel store in the UK.
• To protect our environment's resources, gift cards are reusable by topping up.
• In the event of 24 months of consecutive non-use, the gift card will expire and the balance remaining will be deducted ("Use" includes a balance enquiry).
• Gift cards may not be exchanged for cash or other vouchers or used as a deposit on a credit agreement.
• No change will be given when a gift card is used to purchase goods or services but the balance may be applied to future purchases.
• The minimum amount required to activate or top up the gift card is £1.
• As we do not collect information about gift card customers, we cannot replace or reimburse the value of the gift card if it is lost, stolen or damaged. Gift cards should be looked after carefully.
• When a gift card is used to purchase goods or services, any remaining balance will be shown on the till receipt for store purchases or within the gift cards payment page for online orders. We update the balance on our secure database. The gift card can be taken to any H.Samuel store to check the balance.
• The gift card can be spent on any goods or services online or at any H.Samuel store in the UK up to the value held on the gift card (maximum spend per card £2500).
• The gift card is not a cheque guarantee, credit, debit or charge card.
• H.Samuel reserves the right to amend the terms applying to gift cards at any time. Any such change and action to be taken as a result will be given in advance by notices in all H.Samuel stores.
