Baguette Cut

Slender and rectangular, baguette cut diamonds take their name from the French breadstick, and are the most common form of step cut diamonds. Used by the very earliest jewellers for their simple shape, baguette diamonds have a small, rectangular cut and were hugely popular in Art Deco styles of jewellery. Popular in eternity or wedding rings, they are also used as an accent stone to highlight a larger stone in a diamond cluster ring or are combined with similar sized round brilliant cut diamonds to create a dazzling look.
